Slowly but SurelyNov 23, 2009
First I would like to say that the vendor got it to me extremely fast. I literally had the book the very next day. As for the book itself, it was a slow start I had to push myself to follow through until I got to chapter 40 something, that's when it started to pick up for me. It definteley is not your young adult Twilight story but yet it is still a great story overall. If a sequal were to be written I would defintely read it. So in the end is it worth reading? YES! Just remember it would will be a long road and to keep pushing through

I have read S. Meyer's Twilight series and knew that I very much enjoyed her writing style, but this book was fantastic. She left it in a way where she can pick back up again and I certainly hope that this becomes a book one in a series. I had a hard time putting this book down and never had a clue as to how it would end. Loved it!!!

Stephenie Meyer is just an awesome author. She is so able to draw the reader into the character's world. I also like that she went in a totally different direction from the Twilight Saga. I like how Mrs. Meyer creates a world that isn't limited chronologically. It will play well for some time as a current happening. It's a really great story that left me wanting more which Stephenie Meyer has a talent for doing.

After reading the reviews, I thought I was in for a boring book. However, what I got was an original story that was full of interesting characters. Obviously, SM writes in a very basic, straight-forward way that anyone can understand. I felt this book was written specifically to be made into a movie. In any case, it was an interesting story and I look forward to Stephanie continuing the story.

This was a serious page-turner. Loved every minute of it! I can't wait for her next adult-level book.
